Good maps take you places.

Stories are more than a collection of words and images—they have the power to educate, to transport, and to inspire. I leverage geospatial data and original photography where appropriate to create effective static maps, web applications, story maps, and data visualizations that tell your story and transport your audience.

Let’s talk about your mapping needs.

I am originally from the Piedmont of Northeast Georgia, but after finishing my undergraduate at the University of Georgia, I spent the better part of my twenties in the Intermountain West. During that time I became acutely focused on human-nature relations. Most recently, I earned my Master of Science in Environmental Studies and a GIS certificate from the University of Montana where I learned about the art of cartography and fell in love with making maps.

I once again reside back in the Piedmont with my wife and newborn son on our family’s homestead just outside of Bostwick, Georgia. When I am not creating maps, you will find me outside working to make this small slice of land a better piece of dirt.

If you would like to learn more about my professional experience, you can view my resume here, or if you would like higher resolution copies of my previous work, I would be happy to email a digital copy.
